HOW TO FLOAT

Your first float experience will be unique to you — There is no wrong way to float. Slowing down, breathing and being with your thoughts is tough sometimes because we live in such a fast-paced society! Please know that we are here for you to address any concerns you may have and to make your first float as lovely as possible!

step one. PREPARE

Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to your first appointment. We will orient you with our space, get to know you and your wellness needs, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Prior to your float, please refrain from consuming caffeine for at least two hours and avoid shaving for 24 hours. This allows your mind to relax and avoid skin irritations so you enjoy the full benefits of saltwater float therapy.

WE PROVIDE:
Towels, ear plugs, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, petroleum jelly, and hair dryers are waiting for you in our European-inspired grooming room and showers.

WHAT TO BRING:
Should you need anything else for your float, such as a hairbrush, please bring it with you.

step two. CLEANSE

Wash away the cares of your day in our private showers. Apply Vaseline over any cuts or abrasions. Use our provided ear plugs for maximum comfort. Prepare for a one-of-a-kind experience.

step three. FLOAT

Unwind in our state-of-the-art, sensory deprivation pods filled with pharmaceutical grade Epsom salts and filtered room temperature water. Choose from refreshing LED light therapy, relaxing underwater sound therapy, or complete silence and darkness. For first-timers, we offer a 3-part guided audio meditation to orient guests to the floating experience. It may take some time for you to adjust and find a comfortable position. Breathe in. Breathe out. Enjoy.

step four. REVIVE

Come back to the world as gentle music begins to play five minutes before your session ends. Rinse off in our showers, equipped with top-of-the-line body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. In our grooming area, you’ll find hair dryers and custom lighting so you can comfortably prepare for the rest of your day.

step five. TRANSITION

Float therapy leaves you feeling relaxed, emotionally / mentally aware, and highly conscious of your breathing and any lights, sounds, or movement. Take your time and enjoy hand-selected, gourmet tea in our technology-free tea room. Take your time reentering daily life in our technology-free tea lounge, where you can read, journal or set an intention for the rest of the day over one of our hand-selected gourmet teas.

step six. COMMIT

Our knowledgeable staff will help you set up future appointments, with membership and package arrangements that suit every wellness practice.
